Competitive Teams & Crews

Take your Hip Hop and street dance training to the next level! Challenge yourself with more advanced techniques, choreography and additional performance opporuntities!

Our Competitive Program runs from September 2020 to May 2021 and requires a full season committment. Competitive teams will battle top dancers at a National Street Dance Competition. Our Company and performance Crews are invited to additional performances throughout the season.

Auditions are required for ALL competition teams, performance crews and company classes! Returning students may still require an audition since team ages and levels may have changed. Your spot on a crew must be earned each season. Due to limited space this season, we will be giving returning students the first opportunity to register from August 12th-21st. If there is still space available we will open auditions up to new students starting August 22nd.

All of our competitive teams will have the amazing opportunity to attend the Artists Emerge National Street Dance Competition (Edmonton, AB- TBA 2020). This event features top studios, crews and professional dancers from across Canada with a judging panel consisting of top artists and choreographers from the hip hop dance industry. Teams will also enter Block Party (Saskatoon- TBA) and 1 additional local competition in April/May based on class interest and availability.

PERFORMANCES: Showcases are not guaranteed this year however our tentative dates (depending on restrictions) are December 12th, 2020 and May 12, 2021. If we cannot perform in person we will do an online recital as we did this past year. All students must maintain regular attendance- there is a max 2 absence policy per semester. Those with 3 or more absences in a semester will not be permitted to perform.
